About TeleFFIT
TeleFFIT – Telehealth for Falls and Fracture Prevention Implementation Trial – is a world first 12-month study that is designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a new flexible, personalised telehealth model of service delivery integrating exercise and nutritional support with health coaching by qualified healthcare professionals – personal health coach in your pocket – to optimize musculoskeletal health and mobility for people aged 60+ years with or at risk of osteoporosis or fractures and concerned about their mobility.
Meet the TeleFFIT Team
The design of the TeleFFIT program has been informed by over 20 years of research led by Professor Robin Daly, Chair of Exercise and Ageing, and his team within the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN) at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, in collaboration with researchers from Monash University, the University of Melbourne and the University of Waterloo (Canada).
